Maybe we should link up the hugmonster website and the RLS one when it's finished.

Anyone remember the Hugmonster web site? Empty The Creation of Splash Drop

Post  RLSForumMasterGand Wed Apr 21, 2010 10:51 am

murph04 wrote:The crowning achievment of the Hugmonster forum? It was where Splash drop was created
No.

Splash Drop was introduced there. Splash Drop had been made around 6-9 months before as a character I made up one day.

THE STORY

In the year that is known as 2008, GandWuser was in the 6th grade. Now, he was at a Catholic school, and had a mean and boring old nun, who was around 72 at the time, as his math teacher. Anywho, late in the school year, Gand was doodling on a scrap piece of paper, as he usually did. He thought of how Pokemon had these weird things called "evolutions", where a cute, baby Pokemon would, over time, turn into another form that was much more powerful/darker. He decided to parody this, and he started drawing. He decided it would be a Water type (or something like that), so he first drew a creature shaped like a teardrop with a face, floating arms and a floating body body, and had a little tear-dropped shaped symbol on him. He then proceded to draw the later evolutions. He gave them all names, the first one being "Spalshdrop", the other two he doesn't recall. He decided that the first evolution was cute, and then he started drawing it wherever he could: on boards, on papers, on personal belongings. After a while, Gand drew more creatures like Splash Drop. These included:

*Flame Burn, A fire-shaped person who had a similar layout to Splash, who is his best friend.
*Zap Lightning, A lightning bolt-shaped character with sunglasses, and is a DJ at a club.
*Stone Crush, A character made out of rock, and the wisest of these people.
*Grass Plant, A clump of dirt with grass hair, who is also a bit of a hippie.
*Float Cloud, a Cloud who can fly, and is, um, queer (but has SRS). No one really likes him.
*Flower Sprout, A flower-bodied character who is the only female (for now), Splash Drop's girlfriend, and Grass Plant's cousin.\

And that is the story of Splash Drop's creation.
