OK, so here's what I was thinking for the new OP:

Welcome to Real Life Spore!

This is a thread where we take creations made in Spore and incorperate them into photographs. (mostly for teh lulz) We don't just use photographs though; We also use pictures from video games, teh interwebz, popular media outlets, user-created artwork, and anything else we can get a hold of! (but without violating copyrights)

This club was founded on January 31, 2009 by member "theludicrous" (who is also the creator of the Hugmonster and it's in-forum meme). The original thread continued until May 17, 2010, where it was deleted by… THE GLITCH. Now, it has risen from the rubble, in a new form!…

Also inportant to note is that this is considered a "club", so making images isn't always on the dinner-plate. But it's still on the top of THE MENU, so don't forget to photo"shoop" those Sporelings as much as you can!

Now, you may be asking yourself (and us)…
HOW DO YOU MAKE THESE PICTURES?!?!

Well that’s simple, really. We use image manipulation software such as the free GImP (available at http://www.gimp.org/) or the commercial and more well-known and powerful Adobe Photoshop. If you need help on an image related problem anyone here at RLS and we will gladly help you.

How to put these pictures in posts:

First, upload them to an image hosting site, such as http://imageshack.us/. Then copy the Direct URL, and then put them so it looks like this:

Looks nice. But, I think the first image should be cropped/shrunk somewhat. (should probably take out the "New Age" part) I know there's an (unofficial?) width/height size that's used for alot of OP image headers.

Also, in my opinion, this should replace the text between "Welcome to.." and "How to make..":

Gand, I know you said people will get mad, but when you have a final copy up, I myself would like you to make the new thread. No offense to Jeff if he reads this, but he is kind of new and under-qualified to take over as OP of RLS. We could just ask him to ask for a lock.

Yeah that was the issue I had. I was thinking I would do it, but then I was like/ I've only been here for like 100 pages.

well really with what's left actively posting, I think after Gand is me. There's few left.

I haven't been a member that long but I had been reading it for over a thousand pages before I joined.
